In 1993, we had the idea for the first handmade letterpress Miniature Book, Cheerful Thoughts as an alternative to the Get Well card. We met with artists, editors and letterpress printers extraordinaire, Darrell and Elisabeth Hyder, who loved the idea. Soon we had miniature book fans all over the world enjoying the growing collection of pithy titles, with their witty quotes inside, chosen by our esteemed editors, the special type and decorations of letterpress, the endpapers and the Brookfield patterned covers.
