    Arpa papers are made of pure cotton and linen. The labor intensive process of preparing, pressing and drying the pulp to make these papers is done with the same traditional tools that papermakers have used in Spain for hundreds of years. The papers and envelopes are finished with subtle deckled edges. Beautiful, handmade envelopes in nine sizes. Crafted by Arpa, Artesanos del Papel, Spain. 
    Slight variations in hue and size are a result of the handmade process.
    What is unique to Arpa paper-making is that this family business aspires to produce a handmade paper of consistent color and caliper in reliable stocking quantities. This is often difficult to maintain in smaller batch, handmade paper production. Special attention has been paid to the surface texture and archival purity of the papers from one batch to the next.
